Rosso Fosco is a traditional Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro DOP from the rolling hills of Modena in Emilia-Romagna, Italy. Crafted from 100% Lambrusco Grasparossa grapes, it captures the authentic character of this historic wine region with depth, freshness and vibrant fruit expression.
In the glass, it shows an intense ruby red colour with purple reflections. The nose is expressive and fruit-driven, with aromas of ripe berries and dark fruit. On the palate, it is dry (Secco), lightly sparkling and beautifully balanced, with structured tannins and a refreshing, moreish finish.
This is a true food wine at heart. Its natural freshness and gentle grip make it incredibly versatile at the table, pairing effortlessly with pizza, pasta, roasted meats, cheeses and charcuterie. It has the structure to stand up to rich dishes while remaining smooth and easy to enjoy.
